District 17 ACBL Association

District 17 of the American Contract Bridge League is composed of the following geographical areas: the states of Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona; the Southern part of Nevada within the boundaries of Unit 373 (Las Vegas), that portion of Wyoming that includes Units 421 (Cheyenne) and 422 (Laramie), a small section of Eastern Utah including the city of Moab, and the portion of West Texas covered by Unit 159 (El Paso).

District 17 Bylaws:
District 17 is formally governed by a set of Bylaws, created when the District was organized over a quarter century ago, and amended occasionally since. Click on Bylaws to review our Bylaws.

District 17 is governed by a Board of Directors. The Board holds three regular meetings per year, at selected District 17 Regionals.

World Bridge Federation Press Release: The World Series Championships (WBSC), the world's biggest and most prestigious bridge competition will be held in Philadelphia, PA, USA October 1-16, 2010. It is the first such event to be held in the United States since 1994 and approximately 100 nations are expected to participate in the world series, represented by thousands of the world's best players competing for world titles. Along with the WBSC, the American Contract Bridge League (ACBL) District 4 will be hosting a World Bridge Federation regional tournament which will enable bridge players of all levels to share in the excitement. The World Youth Team Championships will also take place in Philadelphia at this time. ACBL and WBF masterpoints will be given out for these events. Our sincerest thanks to the United States Bridge Federation (USBF) and the ACBL for their support and sponsorship.
